Recently a client asked me what songs I would listen to if I were competing in a pageant. So, below are some songs in my opinion that I think are good songs to help you be confident and positive and overall get you in a good mood! Most of them are upbeat, but there are some songs that can help you reflect and be peace. They are a mix of mostly pop, Christian, and other genres! Here they are:

The Way You Make Me Feel – Michael Jackson
Stars Are Blind- Paris Hilton (yes Paris Hilton- this is such an underrated song)
No Excuses- Meghan Trainor (this song was played at Miss Texas and at Miss USA)
Me Too- Meghan Trainor
Start A Fire- John Legend (La La Land) (this song was also played at Miss TX)
Sledgehammer- Fifth Harmony
Diamonds-Rihanna
Right in Front Of You- Celine Dion (huge fan of her music)
The Climb- Miley Cyrus
Stronger- Britney Spears
My Prerogative- Britney Spears
Never Had A Dream Come True- S Club 7 (great song)
Good Good Father- Chris Tomlin
Whatever It Takes- Imagine Dragons
Trust In You- Lauren Daigle
Replay-Zendaya
Real Love- Clean Bandit & Jess Glynne
In My Blood- Shawn Mendes
Ready for It?- Taylor Swift
Let Me Go- Hailee Steinfeld, Florida Georgia Line
Most Girls- Hailee Steinfeld (big fan of her music)
Love Myself- Hailee Steinfeld
I’m Gonna Getcha Good! –Shania Twain (she has many good songs)
The Champion- Carrie Underwood & Ludacris
For You-Rita Ora & Niall Horan
The Way You Love Me- Faith Hill
No Promises- Cheat Codes feat Demi Lovato
Brand New- Ben Rector
Glorious Day- Passion
Ain’t It Funny- Jennifer Lopez
Intentional- Travis Greene
Wavin Flag- Knaan
Conga- Gloria Estefan
Can’t Stop the Feeling- Justin Timberlake
-Classical Music can also be good music to relax/focus
-Movie/ Musical soundtracks (ex. The Greatest Showman) are good as well

The point is to find songs you like and make a playlist! And listen to them! Music can really help to get you in a good mood and mindset, which could help you during the pageant!
