Seek Out Feedback After a Pageant

9/16/2018

After a pageant it is always important to seek out feedback and evaluate your performance! No matter how the pageant went, there is always something to be learned!! Self-reflect and honestly evaluate your performance. What went well? What could of gone better? What are you going to change for future pageants? Ask those who you trust (family, friends, pageant directors) for their honest opinion on your performance. I think most pageant contestants do not do enough self-reflection after a pageant and instead focus too much on the outcome! Learning after a pageant and improving in an area or areas of competition- could be a game changer!! So, instead of feeling sad and overly disappointed, learn from your experience and let it fuel and guide your preparation for future pageants. Don't give up!
